Bob and Doug McKenzie in Funk Fusion Dance Company 12 Days of Christmas Sales

In the video Funk Fusion Dance Company 12 Days of Christmas Sales, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s part is played by Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by actor Dave Thomas. Although made originally as a sketch to both please and make fun of silly Canadian content rules, the duo turned into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the States. The characters became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
