Bob and Doug McKenzie in Funny 12 Days of Christmas

In the video Funny 12 Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was featured on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as a sketch to both please and mock dumb Canadian content policies, the two transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
