  1. The title is misleading.- this is Geddy on spiritualism – VASTLY different from religion. With spiritualism, you connect with the universe which is real. You don't need faith in an invisible man in the sky who decides whether you burn forever underground or dwell in the clouds forever.

  2. Real occult/Satanist response…real sad because I grew up loving Rush. That “good energy”/Feminine energy/whatever energy you hear about is the stuff The Occult teaches. That’s how the devil covers his work. Layers it with more lies. Read Rush lyrics and truly clear your mind. You will see the messages

  3. “Lee has described himself as a Jewish atheist, explaining to an interviewer, ‘I consider myself a Jew as a race, but not so much as a religion. I'm not down with religion at all. I'm a Jewish atheist, if that's possible.’”

The good thing about this interview here is that he explains right off why that is—because his religion was so strict in his upbringing that it essentially ruined it for him.

  4. Geddy Lee was raised in a family that was very religious which has everything to do with him being calm, grounded, relateable and such a raw virtuoso on the Bass guitar. Many folks that NO faith formation as children became lost and turned to lives of crime.

  5. I think Neil would have answered this question very differently, considering the T shirt he wore while playing spirt of the radio at the rock and roll hall of fame induction in 2013
