Bob and Doug McKenzie in Ghost scene Strange Brew

In the video Ghost scene Strange Brew, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hilarious Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s part is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as a sketch to both fulfill and laugh about annoying Canadian content guidelines, the characters morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and America. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
