Bob McKenzie is played by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by Dave Thomas. Although made originally as fluff to both please and make fun of legal Canadian content policies, the siblings morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
