The only reason I would ever watch another Ghostbusters would be if the original cast were the main characters, focus, and had the most screen time.

No, he's not back because In an interview Bill Murray confirmed that he missed Rick and Harold on the set of Afterlife.
It's funny really, the animated show was called The REAL Ghostbusters.. way before the fake ones of 2016.
The original cast, was just so perfect. The personalities of each character, shined through, thanks to the abilities of these talented people, that, I think they are reigning back enthusiasm ,so as to not outshine, the inheritors of the franchise.
RIck Morranis would be the greatest treat in this movie!

After all this time, I would pay CASH MONEY to just see Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson & Rick Moranis back in a Ghostbusters movie. Sigourney & Dan would be a bonus. Of course, Harold Ramis is gone, and that's sour note in this whole thing.

Moranis would be enough to get most of us interested, even if we weren’t before. That would be even bigger that Murray, IMHO. Hudson being back is big. If they get them all back, this will be awesome.
