In the video GHOSTBUSTERS FAN FEST EXCLUSIVE: Rick Moranis, Harold Ramis, and Annie Potts (alternate scenes), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of strange Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a program which was televised on second city television for the show’s third season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about silly Canadian content policies, the pair turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
