Bob and Doug McKenzie in Ghostbusters II Rick Moranis and Annie Potts Slimer Scenes
In the video Ghostbusters II Rick Moranis and Annie Potts Slimer Scenes, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of strange Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a skit which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob is brought to life by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is played by comic Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously brought to life originally as a skit to both please and laugh about dumb Canadian content demands, the characters grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and across the border. The brothers soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
Rick Moranis as “Louis Tully” and Annie Potts as “Janine Melnitz” doing their scenes in which “Slimer” portrayed by Robin Shelby (credited as Robin Navlyt) would be added in post production. These raw scenes are used to help the effects crew and the performer block out the scenes and actions to be added in post production for “Ghostbusters II” 1989. More GB II videos here:

Alguien sabe cómo se llama la canción que está de fondo cuando entra la mamá del bebé y el esta besando a la chica en el sillón?
I'd do her.
Thank you for this! More please.
Rick Moranis is an absolute legend! Lewis Tully is my favourite part of the Ghostbusters films.
I like how they removed these scenes to stay true to the original ghostbusters, and not like the cartoon with Slimer being the mascot. Yet at the same time, it would make sense for Slimer to still be roaming around in GB2, since we still see him roam New York in the last scene of the first movie.
It's easy to see why this was cut out from the movie. Slimer hanging around at the firehouse makes zero sense in the context of the movies' universe. I understand this is a nod for kids that had been enjoying the cartoon, but the cartoon was an entirely different reality from what they went with in GB2. In the original movie Slimer is a pest. in RGB Slimer is a cutesy mascot. In RGB, the ghostbusters were celebrities, and everyone accepted ghosts were real after the events from 1984. In GB2, the ghostbusters were failures and people believed (somehow) the whole Gozer thing was faked.
Epic.. Rick Moranis was such a funny actor before retiring, and I would of loved to see a larger sub plot of Lewis and slimer.
When I was a kid I saw Ghostbusters II in the theater. The scene where Louis says "It smells like someone took a big dump" and the trap scene were in the movie. Imagine my confusion when I got the movie on video tape and those scenes were gone. I thought I had imagined it.
This is where Anne Potts version of Janine acts more like Laura summers Janine in the animated series with the red hair and attitude in all.
o luis yure sych a cutout. ; than just don't go in there.
What about the scene when Slimer get his Driver's license?
These scenes make the ones they kept make a bit more sense, but Im not fond of this story line. Also Inhate the GB2 look of Slimer.
Annie Potts was so sexy in the late 80s
All in favour of begging Columbia Pics. to remaster GB2 with these parts included, say i!
They should have put those in the movie
From this place
Two block away
It's thad from Carmine street!
I'd get zapped for Popeyes Chicken!
I'd take the chicken bait too!
So there was a scene in this movie where Jeanine actually acknowledges Slimer? The cartoon was canon!
I luv those two, they could be a great couple…
They should re-release GB2 with these deleted scenes… With the well-used technology of CGI nowadays, they can add in Slimer in the screen shots… I'll bet on my proton pack it will be an awesome showing.
