Bob and Doug McKenzie in Ghostbusters (Ooh.. Dana)

In the video Ghostbusters (Ooh.. Dana), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a segment which was included on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was developed originally as an idea to both fulfill and mock stupid Canadian content statutes, the two morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The characters became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
