In the video Good Day, Hoser, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a sketch which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in . Bob is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. The bit was created originally as a skit to both please and laugh about legal Canadian content rules, the pair transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The two enetually would become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
