In the video Great White North Episode 1 with Arny69gamer, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it got sent to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was born originally as an idea to both please and laugh about silly Canadian content rules, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
