Bob and Doug McKenzie in Great White North II – Episode Eighteen

In the video Great White North II – Episode Eighteen, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on second city television for the show’s third season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a joke to both please and laugh at silly Canadian content legislation, the two grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
