Bob and Doug McKenzie in Great White North II – Episode Nine

In the video Great White North II – Episode Nine, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a segment which was televised on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s character is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by comic Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as an idea to both fulfill and laugh at legal Canadian content guidelines, the duo morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
