In the video GREAT WHITE NORTH: MOUSE IN A BOTTLE, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was featured on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sold to CBC Television in 1980. Bob McKenzie is acted by Rick Moranis and Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was born originally as a skit to both satisfy and mock dumb Canadian content statutes, the pair grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The characters soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
