Bob and Doug McKenzie in GREAT WHITE NORTH

In the video GREAT WHITE NORTH, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of made up Canadian brothers who can been seen in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by Rick Moranis and the character Doug is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as a skit to both fulfill and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content guidelines, the two transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
