Bob and Doug McKenzie in Great White North

In the video Great White North, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was aired on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it streamed by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s part is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is played by actor Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as a skit to both fulfill and make fun of dumb Canadian content statutes, the brothers transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
