Bob and Doug McKenzie in Great White North Song

In the video Great White North Song, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of made up Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a skit which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s most popular season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob is acted by actor Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Although created originally as fluff to both satisfy and laugh at stupid Canadian content rules, the duo turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The pair went on to become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
