Bob and Doug McKenzie in Grow For Me (Extended Film Version) – Little Shop of Horrors

In the video Grow For Me (Extended Film Version) – Little Shop of Horrors, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob is played by Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by actor Dave Thomas. It was born originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and laugh about stupid Canadian content policies, the pair morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The pair went on to become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
