In the video Grow For Me, Little Shop Of Horrors (Movie Version), Rick Moranis (my rendition), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a segment which was streamed on second city television for the show’s third season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is played by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and laugh at legal Canadian content statutes, the duo became a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The pair later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
