Bob and Doug McKenzie in Guess I’ll See You Around

In the video Guess I’ll See You Around, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of fictional Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob is performed by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as filler to both satisfy and laugh at stupid Canadian content demands, the characters turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the United States. The characters enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
