In the video Haha Song 12 Days of Christmas Lite Rock 105 Radio Station Funny for true Rhodies + New Englanders, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was featured on SCTV for the show’s third season when it moved to CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s part is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as fluff to both please and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content legislation, the pair turned into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
