Bob and Doug McKenzie in Have You Ever Heard Of… Dudley Do-Right

In the video Have You Ever Heard Of… Dudley Do-Right, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was included on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it got sent to CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is acted by comic Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and laugh about stupid Canadian content policies, the pair turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
