In the video Headed South from the Great White North clip 1, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hilarious Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s third season when it moved to CBC Television in 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is created by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although born originally as filler to both follow guidelines and make fun of stupid Canadian content guidelines, the brothers turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The two enetually would become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
