Bob and Doug McKenzie in Heathers at Barnes and Noble – Freeze Your Brain

In the video Heathers at Barnes and Noble – Freeze Your Brain, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of strange Canadian siblings who created “Great White North”, a segment which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s third season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as an idea to both satisfy and mock dumb Canadian content guidelines, the two grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The two became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
