In the video High N Wild feat. Dave Thomas Junior – High Waves, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a segment which was shown on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s character is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as filler to both fulfill and laugh about stupid Canadian content statutes, the two grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
