In the video Honey I shrunk the Fist!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian family members who hosted “Great White North”, a program which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by comic Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously created originally as a joke to both satisfy and make fun of silly Canadian content guidelines, the characters turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

rick moranis probably does known for his
movies in the 80s
was randomly attacked by a stranger on
the upper west side
take a look at the top right corner of
your screen the nypd saying this video
shows the attacker walk
off to a man punch him in the head and
then just walk away
now take a look at this picture the
police gave us they say this is the man
wanted the attack and they want your
help
in identifying news where’s mark

doing
david we’re told he’s doing okay
physically the actor just finished up
his morning walk he was standing here by
his building
when without words without warning he
was punched in the face by a stranger
known for his roles in movies like
ghostbusters i shrunk the kids
and honey i shot the beloved actor rick
moranis is getting a lot of attention
today
for this assault on the upper west side
captured on camera
it is bad it’s like pre-julian in
manhattan i hate to say it but that’s
what it is
police say this means wearing an i love
new york sweatshirt
punched moranis on the corner of 70th
and central park west
the injured actor went to the hospital
later filing a police report
he’s doing well he’s strong um he’s
recovering
he has a uh you know some injuries to
his uh left side
the nypd’s new community affairs rapid
response team paid moran as a home visit
today
this newly formed group checks on
victims of crimes
offering assistance in all five boroughs
let them know
that we’re there to help them out any uh
way that we can help them
whether it’s something to eat maybe some
groceries maybe they
need uh help going out to uh a family
member’s house the rapid response team
says the actor had one request he was

it’s totally uncalled for
and quite frankly it kind of gets me
down to even think about it
how in certain regards civility is gone
you know i find that very sad
that a guy just you can’t go out
anywhere without being
afraid of being punched
well anyway everybody let’s put in my

don’t like myself and i know mr moranis
doesn’t like it
and as a side note we got to put him and
our president who’s got the covet 19
in our prayers and stuff

those men especially the president
