Bob and Doug McKenzie in Honey, I Shrunk The Kids with Rick Moranis

In the video Honey, I Shrunk The Kids with Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of made up Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is played by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as a sketch to both satisfy and makes jokes about silly Canadian content rules, the pair morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The brothers became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
