Bob and Doug McKenzie in Honey, I Sucker Punched Rick Moranis

In the video Honey, I Sucker Punched Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a program which was televised on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob’s part is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is played by comic Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was developed originally as a sketch to both satisfy and laugh at silly Canadian content legislation, the two became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The brothers soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
