Bob and Doug McKenzie in Hoser Christmas eh!!

In the video Hoser Christmas eh!!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a program which was aired on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it got sold to CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s character is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as filler to both please and laugh at silly Canadian content laws, the two turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The pair soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
