Bob and Doug McKenzie in Hoser – Episode 7: Dreaming of a Wax Christmas

In the video Hoser – Episode 7: Dreaming of a Wax Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. The character Bob McKenzie is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as filler to both please and laugh at legal Canadian content rules, the brothers turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The brothers went on to become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
