Bob and Doug McKenzie in hosers film

In the video hosers film, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hilarious Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in . Bob’s character is acted by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Although created originally as a skit to both satisfy and makes jokes about silly Canadian content guidelines, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
