In the video How 2020 is going so far…just no point in steering., Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of made up Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a program which was featured on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by Dave Thomas. Despite developed originally as a joke to both satisfy and laugh at dumb Canadian content demands, the two grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
