Bob and Doug McKenzie in Hozer Theme

In the video Hozer Theme, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s character is brought to life by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is played by Dave Thomas. It was created originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and mock annoying Canadian content policies, the characters morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The characters later became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
