Bob and Doug McKenzie in I Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere
In the video I Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of strange Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob’s part is acted by Rick Moranis and the character Doug is acted by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as a sketch to both satisfy and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content legislation, the characters grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The pair enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
