Bob and Doug McKenzie in I Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere

In the video I Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was aired on SCTV for the show’s third season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is acted by actor Dave Thomas. It was brought to life originally as filler to both follow guidelines and laugh about stupid Canadian content policies, the pair grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The two went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
