In the video I Ain’t Goin Nowhere Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian actors who starred in “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on second city television for the show’s third season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s character is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by actor Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as a joke to both please and mock non sensical Canadian content demands, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The brothers became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

He sings my life, lol.
I love Rick Moranis, he was a good comedic actor. His wife passed away of cancer in ‘91 & left him with their 2 children, so he kinda dropped showbiz to raise them. Rumour had it, He is coming back for a new Honey I Shrunk the Kids!

Actually reminds me a little of Michael Crawford. After watching him play Frank on Some Mothers do ave 'em. It is hard to believe the hilarious english comedian is actually foremost an opera singer.
I didnt realise that Rick Moranis did some singing. I think of him on Ghostbusters, Lil shop of horrors and Honey I shrunk the kids. I actually like his voice.

I didn't know he even had an album out.
I remember when he first broke out as a star on the infamous comedy sketch show *SCTV* . (along with a long list of future stars names you'll recognize such as John Candy ) .
His most famous roll from the show was a segment he did with Dave Thomas, called "The Great White North" and their Canadian stereotype characters Bob & Doug McKenzie.
Which turned into an xmas album (complete with a song from Geddy Lee of Rush ) and a minor hit movie called "Strange Brew" , then when the show ended they all seemed to go to Hollywood…lol
