@Mert Can - you might have seen this already, but William Shatner did his own version of Joe's "I Am Canadian" rant: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKLkmTz-kJw&t=4s This was a the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, in about 2005(?). To me, it's hilarious! A couple of notes about it: he mentions that he drinks Labatt's, which is another big beer brand here in Canada, and he mentions a theatre in "the NDG", which is the Notre-Dame-de-Grace area of Montreal.
Geneva convention? It's more like Geneva suggestions
I loved these commercials. These commercials were mainly aired during televised sporting events, mainly hockey, which is why there are so many references to Hockey in them. The thing you might not know is the one where the Canadian pulls the suit jacket over the Americans head to start the fight is a reference to hockey where players would pull the hockey sweater over their opponents head to start a fight and give them an advantage. It got so bad the NHL introduced a requirement to have the back of the jersey to have a tie down to the hockey pants to prevent the pullover. Its a penalty if you are caught with the tie down not done up.
I’ve used a credit card to scrape my windows and yes, the seat thing is a biggie.
Molson Canadian!! It has been referred to as “Crack” beer because it tastes so amazing. Yes = it’s as Canadian as Tim Hortons. ❤. (Sending you Canadian Love from Calgary!)
Alpine, Moosehead (affectionately referred to as moose piss) Alexander Keith's Molson, Labatt
I'm going scooner any day. Lots of Canadian beer sadly many great nova Scotland beers are not available in most of Canada.
8:58 It's a variation of the type of lids you put on disposable coffee cups so it doesn't spill when you carry and drink it.
9:26 Meaning to chat up another man's bird.
13:48 You can be a Canadian. There's a whole province for you, Nova Scotia (New Scotland). Many Canadians are of Scottish ancestry (Mike Myers is a good example)
Make a reaction to the "I am Canadian anthem".. unless you already have... In which case "sorry". I am Canadian
