In the video i can’t make you love me || dave thomas junior || Vinsie Candido, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a skit which was aired on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. It was created originally as fluff to both fulfill and makes jokes about silly Canadian content guidelines, the characters grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
