In the video I challenge Patrick Renna, Melanie Hutsell, Rick Moranis, Kyle Smith, Kurt Terrio, Seamus McDonough., Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a skit which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s character is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. The bit was made originally as a skit to both fulfill and mock legal Canadian content rules, the two became a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The two later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
