In the video I See You Through the Slideshows – Dave Thomas O’Gorman, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of imaginaryfunny Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was aired on SCTV for the show’s third season when it aired by CBC Television in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although brought to life originally as fluff to both please and laugh at dumb Canadian content rules, the duo grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and across the border. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
