In the video Ian Thomas: Strange Brew, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of made up Canadian siblings who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it braodcast by CBC Television in . The character Bob McKenzie is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously born originally as a sketch to both fulfill and make fun of annoying Canadian content policies, the two morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
This is a repost of a previous video of mine, only it has a better picture and much clearer sound.
The song itself is the theme to the 1983 hoser classic Strange Brew, only Bob and Doug have made some slight changes that I’m sure you’ll enjoy.
