In the video Iklan goda gado di sctv (1998) @AkameNadio, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob is created by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as fluff to both satisfy and make fun of network Canadian content laws, the duo grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The brothers soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
