In the video Il Grande Bullo (Big Bully) 1996, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s character is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and mock annoying Canadian content policies, the pair became a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The two soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
