Bob’s partThe character Bob is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by comic Dave Thomas. The bit was created originally as filler to both please and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content guidelines, the duo morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The characters enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
