Bob and Doug McKenzie in Interview with Dave Thomas Personal Trainer

In the video Interview with Dave Thomas Personal Trainer, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was featured on second city television for the show’s third season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s part is played by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by actor Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as filler to both satisfy and laugh about non sensical Canadian content demands, the pair grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and across the border. The pair enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
