In the video Irish travellers getting chased in Glasgow from Mcphee’s, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian siblings who starred in “Great White North”, a show which was shown on second city television for the show’s third season when it was aired on CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and mock legal Canadian content laws, the pair transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the USA. The characters soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
