Bob and Doug McKenzie in It’s The Champgane Talkin’

In the video It’s The Champgane Talkin’, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug is created by actor Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as a joke to both fulfill and laugh at annoying Canadian content legislation, the brothers morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The two soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
