In the video I’ve Grown Accustomed To Her Face, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a improv which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob’s character is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and laugh at stupid Canadian content demands, the siblings transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The pair later became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
