In the video JDTJ Demo- Bob and Doug, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of made up Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a skit which was featured on SCTV for the show’s third season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is acted by Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as filler to both fulfill and mock non sensical Canadian content demands, the brothers morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and America. The characters went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
