In the video JDTJ’s Bob and Doug- Photo Shoot, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of made up Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a segment which was included on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it was aired on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as filler to both fulfill and laugh about stupid Canadian content legislation, the brothers became a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and across the border. The brothers soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
